We are committed to being unique in our field when it comes to giving you a holiday with a difference, that's why here at Herons Park we aim to provide you with a relaxing enjoyable holiday for all the family.
Herons Park is set within Romney marshland, made up of lakes and some grassed and shingled areas all within close proximity to a quiet shingled beach.
With enough room to breath, relax and take in the surroundings, with many rural walks and cycle routes at your disposal, you decide which way to spend your time.
Large lakes and some small ponds are found onsite, some of which are undisturbed for many years and full of interesting wildlife.
We currently offer fishing on site however to fish in our fresh water lakes you will need a rod licence, obtainable from your local Post Office.
Our lakes currently are stocked with all natural fish such as Bream to 14lb, Tench 10lb, Roach to 3lb, Carp in the 30lb's big eels and some good pike.
Paid campers with a rod licence can fish with up to 2 rods until dusk for £5 fee per day.
PLEASE NOTE: No night fishing allowed by campers.
We often sponsor local community teams, make donation to local causes and activities, and generally care about the area that we live in.
The anchor that sits on the roundabout at the back of Lydd to the Dungeness Road was donated by us at Herons Park in memory of Parents/Grandparents Margaret and Dennis King who used to own Kings Dairies in Lydd, Littlestone, and New Romney back in the 1960's.
